Hello peeps,
I’ve found the coolest mommy blogs with honesty, humor, and a good dose of reality mixed throughout. I don’t know about you, but I find it incredibly encouraging when Moms share their struggles - I know I’m not the only one. And when they share their success - always a good idea or two to be had.
Please remember that I don’t actually know these women! But I found Musings of a Housewife through her design studio, which I love - cute & cheap! :) She writes mostly normal, but comical happenings of motherhood.
Kristen of We are That Family had some sort of medical procedure, and is sharing it with surprising candor and dignity. And mostly, I think she’s talking about it because some of her reactions to it are so funny! She also writes for another site, but I can’t quite find it right now… I think it is Christian Women Online or 5 Minutes for Mom. Anyway - great writer too!
If you want funny, you HAVE to read Heather at Desperately Seeking Sanity! She is tooo cute - and a single Mom in the DATING game! Can you imagine doing that over again? No thank you.
Soliloquy and Lanxi post very poignantly about becoming new people, and the struggles - always difficult, sometimes humorous - that go along with that. Neither write any references to their real identities (which, in hind’s sight, might have been a brilliant move!) so they can be as brutal and down-right grumpy as need be. (or maybe they have written exactly who they are but I haven’t gotten there yet. Hmmm, great friend, eh? lol - ok, bloggie acquaintance.)
I hope you enjoy reading these ladies. They have encouraged me on my journey. If they speak to you let me know. Their blogs I mean. Not voices. Voices –> psychiatrist. Warm fuzzies –> bloggie pal Cathy.

Thanks so much for the link and for sharing my journey! It’s very nice to meet you!
