It’s good to be back!!

September 25, 2007

Hello Mommies,

I’ve been lost in cyberland for nearly a week.  And I owe a huge debt of gratitude to two people who fixed this up for me:

Amvidian http://www.amvidian.com/

Ok - I have to share something.  I have IM’d Jordan here for a day or so, asking questions, and getting professional succinct answers.  So I owe him big time.  Then, I look up his site to link it here in case you ladies should ever need some programming assistance - (blogging IS really fun - and it even feels like I’m in the grown-up world.)  Would you believe it - my professional buddy here is 21!!!  I should have known- the really good geeks now a days are our children! lol  Anyway, had I written him off immediately due to his age, I would have missed some very courteous and professional help!  A lesson to moi - i need to loose some of that ageism.

Highly recommend: thumbs-up-clipart101.gifthumbs-up-clipart101.gifthumbs-up-clipart101.gif

Shadow :

a moderator on www.wordpress.org which is the software provider of this blog.  God bless those volunteers.  This page is the only credit that I could find for “Shadow”, and you can see the hundreds of threads that he is working on - all as a volunteer.  This community is a huge reason to work with www.wordpress.org if you want to start blogging.  Warning:  it requires some learning to get into changing things if you want the site to look just so!  But it is fun to see your own creation come to life online!  So huge Thanks Graphics to Shadow!

And,

if you are looking for an inexpensive, and customer-service oriented website or domain host, try SAHOSTING, as they were in touch with me within hours of getting my HELP! emails.   Their website isn’t too helpful, but the people are available in person.

Okay, enough shameless plugging, here’s more stuff to come:

  •  tried 3 recipes yesterday - 2 turned out awesome:  gluten free apple coffee cake, and banana bread
  • decorating tips
  • how to have perfect walls (not that we have time for this, but I have to do something with those holes that I regularly make…)
  • And scrapping a decorative “FAMILY”

Happy Tuesday, Mommies,

Multitalentedmommy
